If you have been attending our Sunday Worship Gathering, and are looking for a way to get more involved, we encourage you to become part of a House Church.

During the week we gather in homes, parks, coffee shops and apartment complexes to love God and people on a deeper level. We open our lives to give and receive support, confession, encouragement, strength and grace. We ask questions, find answers, serve our city and help one another follow Jesus. To join or visit a House Church, sign up at the CONNECT banner in the lobby or email housechurch@ethoslove.com.

Each House Church consists of 8-12 people. It doesn’t matter if you are white, black, young, old, Christian, or not — you are invited to be a part of a House Church.

Discussion House Churches.

We believe every person has gifts and talents that can be used for the purpose of pointing other people towards Jesus Christ. In our Discussion House Churches, we use people who have the gift of teaching, communicating, and facilitating to lead a group of 8-12 people in a time of discussion regarding the text our church studied together on the previous Sunday Night. Discussion House Churches are designed to help each person in the group connect more intimately with God and each other through a time of sincere, Bible based conversation and prayer.

Passion House Churches.

We believe every person has gifts and talents that can be used for the purpose of pointing other people towards Jesus Christ. In our Passion House Churches, we use people with a variety of gifts and passions to lead a group of 8-12 people to help each person in the group connect more intimately with God and each other.

For example, we have a Passion House Church for runners, where those within our church family that love to run, meet up once a week to run, pray, confess sin, and encourage one another in the walk with Christ all while doing what they love to do. We have Passion House Churches for Songwriters, Chefs, Seamstresses, Artists, Photographers, and much more. The goal is not to have House Churches based around our hobbies, the goal is to use our hobbies as a platform for connecting with God and one another on a more intimate level.

How can I join a house church?
It is simple. You can visit with someone at our Connect Stand on any Sunday, or simply email Brandon Steele (brandon@ethoslove.com) for more information regarding joining a house church.

What can I expect at a typical House Church?
The majority of our house churches meet on Wednesday Nights @ 7 pm and are finished by 8:15 pm every week. Every week we read the Bible, pray, and discuss our spiritual journey. Some weeks we share a meal, and one week each month instead of meeting in a home we go out and serve people in our community.

If I go to a House Church, do I have to participate in the conversation?
No, in fact, lots of people show up for weeks and even months before they feel comfortable talking. House Church is a place where you can be totally comfortable just being you…if that means you come and go without saying a word, then great. We are glad to have you here.

What parts of Nashville do House Churches meet in?
We have house churches that meet in over 50 locations all across Nashville. So if you live in Nashville, chances are there is a House Church near you.

What months do House Churches meet?
September thru May. You can join one at any time.
