LISTEN to GO

Several years ago, days before my grandmother passed away, our family had the joy of gathering around her hospital bed to say our goodbyes. Although I cherish every conversation I had with my grandmother over the years, there is something special about the words she chose to share with us during her last days. When time is a limited commodity … every WORD is precious.

After Jesus was resurrected from the tomb, just moments before he ascended to heaven — Jesus commissioned 11 ordinary men to do the unthinkable. Jesus’ words and the response of these ordinary men have changed the course of human history. HIS words were not simply for them … HIS words are for us. Jesus’ final words on earth were not a great suggestion … HIS final words were our great commission.
