FAQs

Why does Ethos meet in a bar/music venue?
We are highly committed to sharing the love of Jesus in a setting where Christians and non-Christians feel comfortable. Since we know many people in our city are intimidated to go to a church building, we figured we would meet somewhere else.

Does Ethos Church offer anything for kids?
Yes, but only at the 9:15AM, 10:45AM, and 5PM Worship Gatherings. Kids are welcome at all of our services, but for parents that need help with childcare, the 9:15AM, 10:45AM, and 5PM Worship Gatherings are your best option. To find out more about Ethos Kids click here.

What should I wear?
Whatever you want. Dress is casual. Seriously, just come as you are.

What should I expect at a Sunday Worship Gathering?
Each Worship Gathering lasts approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. We get started every week right at 9:15AM, 10:45AM, 5PM and 7PM. If you are the type of person that likes to be on time you will want to arrive a few minutes early, or if you’d like to slip in unnoticed so you can check us out … feel free to come a few minutes late.

Each week we spend time in passionate worship, community prayer, relevant Bible teaching, and family communion. We are simple and laid back, and we’d love for you to come any time.

What kind of church is Ethos?

Ethos is a Church of Christ. The Church of Christ began as a part of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement, a movement determined to be simply Christian. Where you come from says a lot about you, but it doesn’t say everything. While we share a commitment to the values of our tradition, we seek to express our faith in ways that embrace the challenges presented by our ever-changing culture.

What does Ethos mean?
The characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as displayed by its beliefs and behaviors. In other words, our “Ethos” as a church is Jesus.
